Our story

With his previous experience in managing Jewellery stores, Glyn Griffiths Snr decided to open his first store on Wembley High Street in 1978. Just two years later he opened his second store on Harpenden High Street in 1980. Glyn Griffiths Jewellers has been a family run business from the very first day the doors were opened and you will always receive a very warm welcome as well as the highest standard of customer service. At 16 years old Glyn Griffiths Jnr began studying making and designing Jewellery at the London Guildhall University. From there he continued to expand his knowledge with apprenticeships in making jewellery. In 2003, using his knowledge and experience he had gained in London he joined the family business and has continued the ethics and passion that have worked so well for 42 years. This year the store is celebrating it's 42nd Anniversary of trading in Harpenden. We are truly very grateful to our wonderful customers and would like to thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
